Ai or Air???

Was reading bout the coming by-elections especially the one in my home state, Sarawak. The seat was vacated by the late Dublin Unting.. The issue for me it's not who gonna get the seat but how the name of the placed is pronounce..

The name of the place is Batang Ai which is near Lubok Antu.. It's a beautiful place cause it is near the river.. Believe it or not, in the freaking middle of the freaking Sarawakian Jungle there is a Hilton resort!!! Not only that, there's a Dam near by too..

I have never been to the resort personally but heard that it's an awesome place to go if you really want to spend time with that special someone or just to hang out yourself.. Peace, Quiet,Tranquility.. Awesome!!!!

Anyways, Some dude in the newspaper, pronounce Batang Ai as Batang Air... Which is Wrong. I'm here just to make things straight, it's Ai(with an invisoble K at the back) or Air.. Ok guys Ai(invisible K) remember that.. If you pronounce it Air might as well you pronouce it as Batang Air as in Air Air(Udara) Ang mo slang.. hahahaha
