Merry Christmas!!!

As Christmas gets closer, everyone out there is wondering what to buy for their love ones...
well i have a couple of suggestions...
Buy a music CD!!!(or more)
well not your typical Christmas music CD lah..
more contemporary stuff...
So here are my suggestion..

1. Orson- Bright Idea And Culture Vulture

Ok, you guys might have heard this guys on the radio or watched them on MTV.
Bright Idea is their 1st album. The funny thing is that the album was release in 2005 in the US.
It didn't have to much success in the US so they brought it to the UK and it went platinum there.

This band knows the epitome of fun with songs such as No tomorrow... which could easily be a hit on the dance floor. This album also has a solid bunch songs like Bright Idea, Happiness, Downtown, Already Over.

This band has a Maroon 5 thing going about it but more fun about it. Even their love songs or break up songs are catchy like Already Over. The singer voice suits all the songs. I other words Cun lah... The guitars are cool using a lot of the flanger effects( No Tomorrow).. The line up is solid

Lyrical wise is kind of standard. Most of the bands now days write their experience in love and life. This band is no different. But songs like Already Over is a good break up song to listen to if you want something funny to listen to.

Overall this album can bring the cheers to your gloomy and rainy(snowy for others) Christmas.
So here's Orson's No tomorrow's video...

Enjoy

Culture Vulture

Here we have Orson's sophomore album Culture Venture, and just like the first they are sticking with the formula that made them famous.... Fun music!!!

In this album their 1st single is Ain't No Party..
It i like No tomorrow. Catchy! Catchy! Catchy! That's all I can say.
It is super radio friendly

Other songs like The Contortionist, Gorgeous, Radio are worth to listen.
It might no be as catchy as Ain't No Party but the songs are super solid!!
The guitar stuff is much alike the previous album Bright Idea.
The singer is solid.. Though his voice is not like those super singers but his style fit the bill.
Songs like Where you are tonight has this Queen Thing going on especially in the beginning..
The way he sang sounds like Freddy Mercury.( in the beginning)

In this album Orson's continue where they left off..
It is worth your money and time to listen to them..

Orson's are for those who like to listen something more mellow than Incubus and Foo Fighters and at the same time Dance!! I promise no screaming one...
